MEET THE TEAM
Kate completed a Biotechnology (Hons) degree at the University of Auckland, focusing on improving processing technologies for a NZ health products company. She's now a part of the team at Arc Angels - investing in early stage businesses led by women.
David is in his 3rd year of a conjoint History, Finance and Statistics major at the University of Auckland. A founding member of First Cut and an intern at ICE Angels, David's current focus is on fundraising and growing First Cut.
An Auckland Grammar old boy, Alex is currently studying towards a Commerce and Arts conjoint degree, majoring in Economics, Finance and History at the University of Auckland. In the future he intends to pursue a career in investment banking.
As ICE Angels’ Network Manager Jack enables First Cut Ventures to connect with and leverage The Icehouse's and ICE Angels’ communities. He is personally an active investor in multiple start-ups, serves as board observer to AskNicely and is in the final stages of a Bachelor of Commerce.
Having recently completed a Law and Business double degree, Hayden is currently the Chief Learning Officer at a local education start up. In his downtime, he enjoys open water swimming and distance running.
Hannah is currently studying towards a BCom/BA at the University of Auckland, majoring in Economics, Finance, History and Politics & International Relations. With a firm belief in the role entrepreneurship plays in solving global issues, she's passionate about unleashing Kiwi ingenuity on the world.
Having graduated from the University of Auckland with a master degree in business management, Jason is now working as an investment analyst at the ICE Angels. Fully engaged in the New Zealand startup ecosystem, he also enjoys running in the bush.
